Children have a special place at First United Methodist Church. There are many programs planned especially for the growth and development of the children.
Sunday School meets at 10:00 am each Sunday.
The Kids Praise Choir meets at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays.
Special programs are provided during the Wednesday Happenings sessions for the children.
Church for Kids provides an additional and exciting biblical learning experience during church time. Church for Kids classes begin after the children's sermon during church. The children who are interested ages four through seven years old are escorted to one of the classrooms next to the nursery in our new Children's Building. The class duration time lasts approximately thirty minutes. The children's sermon topic follows the church calendar sermons. The children are escorted back into the sanctuary for the closing Benediction. Our children seek to learn more about God. We hope this is a true blessing for you.
